The Shack
The Gorge, via Copmanhurst
“The Shack” is a modern version of a pioneer’s retreat. It has every
convenience and can sleep a dozen or more in very comfortable
surroundings with everything provided except linen and food. “The
Shack” is on the Winter’s family property on the southern side of
the magnificent Clarence Gorge. Day trippers are also welcome to
visit but the entrance to the property is locked and everybody must
make contact by telephone prior to gaining entry. |

Wave Hill Station
Carnham Road, Fineflower via Copmanhurst
Wave Hill Station covers the northern side of the Gorge. Horseback
or 4WD tours are offered to our guests to the most spectacular
sections of the Gorge. All meals are available at the homestead or
there is a restored, pioneer style farm cottage for rent. Tennis
court and pool are available for visitor use and the large grazing
property provides every opportunity to understand and love the true
Australian lifestyle. Camping and fishing are permitted. Enjoy the
scenery of the mountains, rainforest, wildlife and rural
countryside. |
