This is one of the few regattas where students from State and GPS schools get the chance to row against each other. With trophies on offer in the Championship Schoolboy and Schoolgirl Eights, Single Sculls and under 17 quad Sculls. Food and refreshments are available from the Rowing Club canteen and a presentation ceremony finishes off the day at 4pm.

Following the Head of the River Regatta is the Grafton Club Regatta where over 100 races take place including aged events, men's and women's masters and mixed races. With BBQ food and soft drink refreshments on offer from the Rowing Club Canteen. Medals are awarded to the winners at the presentation ceremony at the close of play.

The Maclean Showground hosts an action packed evening with a full range of rodeo events such as bull riding; saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, ladies and junior events plus heaps more. With live action replay, you'll be able to see every bump and thud in detail. Rodeo clowns, a bouncy castle, rides for the kids and ample food and refreshment make this a night not to be missed.
