Greyhound owners, trainers, breeders and enthusiasts gather in Grafton from far a field to be part of this famous carnival with over $60,000 in prize money.

This seven meeting carnival, held over two weeks, coincides with the thoroughbred racing carnival and is highlighted by the running of the Taylor Family Maiden Classic sponsored by Clarence Valley Sheds, the Village Green Sprinters Cup and the Westlawn Finances Stayers Cup.

The Clarence River Jockey Club is home of the richest non-metropolitan carnival in Australia which attracts crowds in excess of 30,000. Special functions and extra entertainment are programmed into this exciting event with luncheons, dinners as well as fashion on the field.
