Gibraltar Range National Park is a World Heritage area located on a
forested plateau above the gorge country of the Nymboida and Mann
Rivers. The landscape is carved by deep-cut valleys and has
spectacular areas of weathered granite and balancing rock. There
are extensive visitor facilities in the area including a small
visitor centre, walking tracks that connect with Washpool National
Park, a large camping area at Mulligans Hut alongside Dandahra
Creek, and a spectacular scenic lookout which provides view back
over the gorge country. |
