Diving in the Solitary Islands Marine Park

The Solitary Islands Marine Park covers estuaries, secluded beaches, stunning headlands, reefs, rock platforms and remarkable islands with some of the greatest diversity of marine life (including hard corals) in NSW. It is the first marine park in Australia to collectively manage such a range of marine environments. Some people suggest that it is the southern edge of the Great Barrier Reef.

There are zones which permit varying levels of human activity to protect conservation values but still allow traditional holiday recreation.

There are operators in Wooli that conduct fishing charters, whale-watching and deepsea diving.

For further information, visit the Marine Parks Authority website.
