Clarence River Ferries

Iluka Boatshed & Marina, Iluka & River Street Wharf, Yamba

Clarence River Ferries operate a daily passenger ferry service between Yamba & Iluka, and cruises to Harwood Island on Wednesday, Friday, and jazz cruises on Sunday. There is no more magnificent waterway than the Clarence River and a trip on these services should be part of every visit to the Clarence Valley. While crossing the mouth of the Clarence you can watch the dolphins as they follow in the wake of the boat. Available for charters.

Lawrence Ferry (24 hour free service)

Rutland Street, Lawrence

This ferry shuttles between Lawrence and Woodford Island and is part of Tourist Drive 22. Vehicles with long overhang will have problems at low tide. This ferry stops for maintenance every Tuesday from 9.30am to 11am.

Ulmarra Ferry (free service)

Pacific Highway (just north of Ulmarra)

This ferry is unsuited to caravans and coaches but is useable by for mini-buses. Operating times: 6.00am to 7.45am; 8.30am to 11.45am; 12.30pm to 5.45pm; 6.30pm to 11pm. This ferry stops for maintenance each Sunday from 6.00am to 8.00am PLUS the first Wednesday of each month from 9.30am to 11.30am.
