The Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic road race will again be held on the Gwydir Highway on Saturday 27 2012.

Changed road conditions: Grafton to Glen Innes

This year the Gwydir Highway between Tindall Road (15km west of Grafton) and Bald Knob Road (25km east of Glen Innes) will be CLOSED to all westbound vehicles from 8am to 2pm. The highway will be closed to eastbound vehicles from Bald Knob Road (25km east of Glen Innes) from 6am and 1pm. However, local traffic will have limited access to the road between these hours.

At approximately 11am, the Tindal Road closure will be removed and the highway opened to westbound traffic up to the Mann River Rest Area, where the closure will remain until approximately 2pm.
