Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is currently undertaking work on the Farlows Flat project adjacent to the Harwood Bridge. The objective of the project is to provide cost effective treatments to extend the life of eisting pavements, improve road safety and improve flood immunity and recovery time of the treated sections.

The Farlows Flat Project requires the closure of the Harwood Bridge lift span from 7am until 7pm, Monday to Saturday from 17 February 2012 until mid June 2012. The closure will affect all water vessels that require the lift span to be raised.
